Keeping in view the forthcoming the holy month of Ramazan, Pakistan Vanaspati Manufacturers Association (PVMA) has assured to reduce 5 to 7 rupees per kilogram on all brands of ghee and cooking oil for Ramazan Package in special Bazaars. Punjab Minister Rana Mashood presiding over a meeting the other day with PVMA regarding ghee and oil prices for Ramazan bazaars, expressed that ghee and oil are essential items, reduction in prices was necessary. 
He said that government of Punjab was trying hard to provide relief to the common man during Ramazan on all food items. Chairman PVMA Khawaja Arif Qasim said that there would be abundant supply of ghee and cooking oils in all these Bazaars and they will fully cooperate with administration in this regard. The Minister Food Bilal Yasin, Commissioner Lahore Division Imdad Ullah Bosal, Muhammad Salim Bhatti AIG Police, Mehar Muhammad Mumtaz Additional Secretary Food, Muhammad Akhtar Additional Secretary Industries, DCO Lahore Nasim Said also attended the meeting.
