You can join Agri-SMS Service by sending an SMS to 9900

Example:

1. Write “Follow agrinfobank” and send it to 9900
2. You will get this reply from Agri-SMS Serive: “Please register with Agri-SMS Serive by replying with your name”
3. On receiving this message you will have to reply with a valid username – Agri-SMS Serive will then reply with the following message: “Greetings user! Welcome to Agri-SMS Serive. SMS HELP to get more information.”

You can also join Agri-SMS Serive by accepting invitation from an existing Member (say Ahmed)

Example:

1. Ahmed writes “invite 03001234567” and sends it to 9900
2. You receive the invitation from Ahmed: “Greetings! Ahmed wants to follow your updates on Agri-SMS Serive. To register, reply with your name.”
3. You will then have to reply with a valid username to start using Agri-SMS Serive

Making an update from your mobile

An update you make from your mobile will be sent to all your followers. Charges are Rs. 0.5+tax for a single SMS, no matter how many people it goes out to.
To make an update, type P before the update and SMS it to 9900.
Example:
P I'm back in Lahore! Who wants to meet up?
You are required to type a P before the update when using your mobile phone so that you don't mistakenly make an update when you actually just wanted to send a command or action.
